Your Privacy Choices
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA) rights and request form
NutriOptio does not sell or share your personal information.
Not now, not in the past 12 months, not ever. We also do not use your data
for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not knowingly collect
or sell the personal information of anyone under 16.
Your rights under California law
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act
(CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you
the following rights with respect to the personal information NutriOptio
collects about you. Many states (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut,
Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others) now offer similar rights — we extend the
same process to all U.S. residents.
- Right to know. Request the specific pieces and categories of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes for collecting it, and any third parties we have shared it with (we have none).
- Right to delete. Request deletion of the personal information we have collected from you.
- Right to correct. Request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. Direct us not to sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. (We don't do this — but the right is yours.)
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. Direct us to limit our use of sensitive personal information to purposes you would reasonably expect. (We do not collect SPI categories such as government ID, precise geolocation, race, religion, sexual orientation, or biometric data.)
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service because you exercised any of these rights.
- Right to use an authorized agent. You may use a person or business to submit a request on your behalf, with written permission and identity verification.
How to submit a request
Use the form below, or email us directly at
privacy@nutrioptio.com
with the subject line "California Privacy Request".
What happens next
- We will confirm receipt within 10 business days.
- We will respond substantively within 45 calendar days. If a request is unusually complex, we may extend this by one additional 45-day period and tell you why before the first window closes.
- For "right to know" and "right to delete" requests on Pro accounts, we will verify your identity by sending a confirmation link to the email on file. We do this so a stranger cannot delete your account.
- You will not be charged for exercising your rights. We will not retaliate or downgrade your service.
- If we deny your request (e.g., it would require us to break the law, or we cannot verify your identity after a reasonable attempt), we will explain why in writing and tell you how to appeal.
What personal information NutriOptio collects
For full detail see our Privacy Policy. The short version:
- Identifiers — email, name, country (Pro accounts only)
- Customer records — age range, weight, height, calorie goal, dietary preferences (Pro accounts only, all optional)
- Internet activity — searches you type, pages you visit, anonymous analytics on the public site
- Inferences — Diet Coach chat history (stays in your account, never sold, never used to train external AI models)
We do not collect Social Security numbers, government ID, precise geolocation, race, religion, sexual orientation, union membership, immigration status, biometric data, or genetic data.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
NutriOptio recognizes the Global Privacy Control browser signal
as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat that as an opt-out for the device
and browser sending it — though, again, we do not sell or share to begin with.
Children's privacy
NutriOptio is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from anyone under 13. Our Pro service requires users to
be 16 or older. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information,
email privacy@nutrioptio.com
and we will delete it.
